Prof Alan LAU has been serving as the President of the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) since 12 December 2022. He provides strategic leadership and operational management to enhance academic programmes and research in support of industry growth. Prof LAU is dedicated to bringing innovative learning platforms that foster work-ready graduates. Prior to his role at THEi, Prof LAU was Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Partnerships and Digital Innovation) of Swinburne University of Technology, Australia where he took charged of research performance, international research, and ranking strategy.
