Abstract

The “Journey from Montessori to the Genius Vincent van Gogh” is a well-planned art education and cultivation program which integrates the scope of Montessori teaching: language, music, creative arts, culture, and science. Montessori’s approach to art and handcrafts is unique and distinctive. It emphasizes cultivating children’s skills before introducing them to free expression. Once basic skills are acquired, creativity naturally emerges. Trained hands become a tool for children to communicate. The curriculum is designed and guided by experienced Montessori educators and professional artists, offering rich and comprehensive content that inspires children’s creative potential. Children are free to express their thoughts and feelings, gaining experiences of success and enhancing their self-confidence.

The relevant outcome and deliverables of the projects, pedagogies and experience:
Such an intersection generates many creative and enriching artworks. The combination of Montessori’s educational approach and Van Gogh’s artistic style cultivate a group of young artists passionate about art and with their own personal styles. Through self-directed learning and practice, they discover their artistic talents and continually grow and develop under the guidance of Montessori and Van Gogh. In summary, the intersection of Montessori and Van Gogh would create a scene where art education merges with creativity, inspiring children’s imagination and artistic talents. This fusion could have interesting implications for the fields of education and art, inspiring more people to discover and pursue their own creativity.
