Li Ka Man, teacher-librarian from Henrietta Secondary School, is presently appointed as commissioner of Hong Kong Teachers’ Librarians Association. Ms Li has been teaching interdisciplinary curriculum for over decade, she shared her experiences of Project based learning and e-learning during her career. In 2023, Ms Li acheived IASL-HKTLA merit Award in 2023, she is one of the committee members of International School Library Month 2025.
The school library not only provides learning tools for students but also offers experiences that broaden students’ horizons. This seminar will showcase a case about promoting global education. The case study reveals a government-funded school in Hong Kong utilizing reading and existing resources to create environments for students to explore multiculturalism. It will also inform participants about how the teacher-librarian promotes education for sustainable development goals (SDGs)
