Mr. Chan Chun Wa, Christopher serves as the STEM Education Coordinator, General Studies Panel Head, and Examination and Assessment in-charge at SKH Fung Kei Millennium Primary School. With a wealth of experience in both teaching and curriculum coordination, Mr. Chan is dedicated to advancing the development of General Studies and STEAM education within the school. He excels in employing innovative and engaging teaching strategies that stimulate students’ curiosity, enhance their learning motivation, and foster a dynamic and captivating educational environment.
The speaker will share insights on how the STEAM DAY, themed around “Ships,” was designed to promote students’ learning in STEAM aspect and nurture their innovative thinking. Through hands-on experiments and problem-solving explorations, students were able to grasp fundamental scientific principles in an engaging and practical way, while also enhancing their problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities. This event also connected with the community by incorporating elements of environmental protection and ocean conservation, allowing students to develop an understanding of the concept of sustainable development.
